LIVE AT THE QUARRY has been boosted with the addition of third shows by

The Whitlams (March 16)

and

Kate Miller-Heidke (March 23).

Tickets for The Whitlams’ first “Live at the Quarry” show sold out in record time and sales for the second show have prompted the promoters to add a third concert to cope with demand.

Kate Miller-Heidke performed LIVE AT QUARRY in 2008.  Now she returns to perform 3 concerts at the picturesque amphitheatre.

have proven to be as popular as ever selling out their Friday 14 March show Live At The Quarry in record time, over the weekend!!

Their 'charming cynicism' and poignant melodies will now carry over for a SECOND show, Saturday 15 March, 2014.

Also announcing a second (and final) show is the iconic JOSH PYKE, fresh from the release of The Beginning And The End Of Everything.

He will be performing in the intimate and spectacular surround of the Quarry Amphitheatre on Wednesday 12 and now Thursday 14 March, 2014.

The Whitlams Just Announced for the Summer Season 2013/14

We are delighted to announce that Tim and the boys will be back in Perth next year to perform under the stars at the Quarry Amphitheatre in City Beach on March 14, 2014.

The appeal of The Whitlams reaches audiences of all ages and tastes.  With lyrics described as having a ‘charming cynicism’ and enhanced by an instinct for poignant melody, the Tim Freedman-led Whitlams have become a staple of the Australian music scene. They won Best Group at the 1998 ARIA Awards, as well as Song of the Year and Best Independent Release for their 3rd album “Eternal Nightcap”.  The current lineup has remained unchanged for the last 10 years and four albums.

This summer’s LIVE AT THE QUARRY kicked off this week with four concerts by the sensational rock-opera ensemble The TEN Tenors - two more shows left of their 4 show run!). 

Next up is One of Australia’s most beloved, respected and admired indigenous performers,Archie Roach on December 13 & 14.  March will be a busy time at the Quarry with concerts not only by The Whitlams, but also Josh Pyke andKate Miller-Heidke.

The ever popular West Australian summer concert series, LIVE AT THE QUARRY opens its seventh annual season at the Quarry Amphitheatre on November 27, with the sensational rock-opera ensemble, The TEN Tenors.
