More Acts! More shows!

With this week’s James Morrison & Deni Hines performances on Thursday and Friday evening marking the launch of Live At The Quarry Season 5, we’ve released a few more titbits about the huge season ahead.  In news hot off the press, a stunning array of support acts have been added to Live At The Quarry 2011/2012…  

Abbe May joins Tim Rogers, America’s Sam Amidon (otherwise known as Beth Orton’s other half) and Melbourne’s Catherine Traicos both join Beth Orton, The Autumn Isles and Blanche DuBois come on board to support the Whitlams, and Ruby Boots has signed on to sing the blues in support of Diesel.

Meanwhile, following more sold out success stories at the Quarry, Beth Orton, The Whitlams and Diesel have all had their hands forced and added extra dates!

Beth’s third (and definitely final) show will be on Thursday 26 January on the Australia Day public holiday – what better way to spend Australia Day than in one of the most naturally Australian venues in the country!

Meanwhile The Whitlams’ second show, announced for Saturday January 28, is selling quickly.  As is the just announced second show for legendary Australian guitarist and songwriter Diesel, on March 17, following his first show on March 16 selling out.

Please be advised that there is a storm currently predicted for this Sunday morning, January 30. 

As per our policy of “We Play Rain Or Shine”, we fully intend for this weekend’s Live At The Quarry performances starring James Reyne and Mark Seymour to go ahead, however should the situation appear dangerous and the shows are unable to proceed we will advise further.

Cat Power 2nd & final show announced!

Due to overwhelming popular demand, a second and definitely final Live At The Quarry date has been announced for Cat Power on Australia Day Eve, Tuesday 25th January.

The announcement follows a successful week for Cat Power’s first show on Monday 24 January, which went on sale on Monday and has already sold out! We were always confident this was going to be a special night – and the people of Perth seem to firmly agree.
